A visual snapshot of SOARC in action at Sherwood Observatory.
This gallery (will) bring together moments from our public open evenings, STEM outreach, member operating sessions and behind-the-scenes work to build up the Sherwood Observatory Amateur Radio Club.
As we grow, we’ll add more images here to show:
- Public engagement – visitors exploring amateur radio during Observatory open events
- On-air activities – HF, VHF/UHF, satellites, digital modes and special event stations
- Training and development – members learning, experimenting and progressing on their radio journey
- Around the Observatory – the unique setting we share with the planetarium, science centre and telescope
